Public Notice for applicants with an overall financial appropriation of 5.000.000,00 €
To whom it is addressed
SMEs operating in the audio-visual sector, with an ATECO 59.11 primary code, that are the only producers or co-producers of the submitted audio-visual work, or have an executive production contract with an audio-visual production company.
Admissible types of projects and minimum shooting thresholds in Puglia
- FICTION: fiction feature films or animation films with mainly cinematographic exploitation purposes; fiction or animated TV films; TV/web fiction or animated series | 6 working days
- DOC: documentary with mainly cinematographic exploitation purposes; TV documentary; TV/web documentary series | 6 working days
- SHORT: fiction or animated short film; TV/web short film musical (video clip o music-video) | 2 working days
- FORMAT: reality; talent show; factual entertainment; fictionality/constructed reality; action game; adventure game | 6 working days
Budget coverage and distribution contracts
- 60% for FICTION
- 40% for DOC
- 20% for SHORT
- 60% for FORMAT
In the case of projects pertaining to the FICTION category, it is required to have a distribution contract or a deal memo or a letter of commitment for distribution, with a distributor and/or a broadcaster and/or a SVOD or VOD platform.
In the case of projects pertaining to the FORMAT category, it is required to have a contract with the broadcaster for airing.
Cash rebate
- ALL PROJECT TYPES: 50% of expenditures in favour of workers and professionals registered in the Apulia Film Commission Production Guide
- DOC: 40% of expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia
- SHORT: 70% of expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia
- FORMAT: 25% of expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia
- FICTION: the amount to be granted will be equal to the sum of the contribution amounts calculated by expenditure brackets, according to the table below:
- for expenditures up to 300.000,00 Euro, the amount to be granted will be 20% of eligible expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia;
- for expenditures ranging from 300.000,01 Euro and 600.000,00 Euro, the amount to be granted will be equal to 60.000,00 Euro plus 25% of eligible expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia, with regard to the portion exceeding 300.000,00 Euro;
- for expenditures ranging from 600.000,01 Euro and 900.000,00 Euro, the amount to be granted will be equal to 135.000,00 Euro plus 30% of eligible expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia, with regard to the portion exceeding 600.000,00 Euro;
- for expenditures over 900.000,00 Euro, the amount to be granted will be equal to 225.000,00 Euro plus 35% of eligible expenditures in favour of suppliers with tax residence in Puglia, with regard to the portion exceeding 900.000,00 Euro.

Selection of eligible projects and publication of the final ranking
The eligibility activity is carried out by the offices of the Puglia Region – Sole Procedure Manager: Mr. Emanuele Abbattista
The evaluation of applications is performed every two months by a Technical Assessment Commission.
Those projects which obtain an overall score of 60 points will be financed, subject to the achievement of the minimum points in criteria A. .
