Cinehubs

Bari

The Apulia Cineport hubs are the logistical headquarters of the Apulia Film Commission Foundation and centres to welcome and host production companies.

The Bari Cineport hub was opened on 16 January 2010 as part of the “Sensi Contemporanei” programme agreement. Located by the seafront to the north of the regional capital next to the Monumental Entrance of the Fiera del Levante trade fair complex, it operates as a business centre set over an area of 1,200 m².

It offers office space, casting areas, make-up, hairdressing and costume rooms and a scenery storeroom and workshop. Furthermore, the Bari cineport hub is equipped with a 96 seater, full HD Dolby Surround screening room (including disabled access) with a simultaneous translation booth. It also boasts a speakers’ table with three microphones, a radio microphone, a video projector, an 8×3 m 16:9 screen, Blu Ray / DVD equipment and technical assistance.

Set up as operative bases to allocate resources for cast and crew filming in Apulia, over a short period of time the Apulia Cineport hubs have become artistic and cultural centres open to the public and hosting exhibitions, film shows, cultural events, conferences and casting sessions for film and TV productions.
