When East meets West – Coproduction Forum
WEMW is a co-production forum designed to bring together decision makers and 20 selected producers with one project in development from Eastern Europe*, Italy and – only for the 2013 edition – the German speaking countries (AT, DE, CH).

ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
Projects should be feature films/documentaries for theatrical release or TV documentaries, preferably with a minimum of 10% of the budget already in place. For the 2013 edition WEMW will select projects:
1)from Eastern Europe with a narrative or artistic link either with Italy or one of the German speaking countries (Austria, Germany and Switzerland)
2)from Italy with a narrative or artistic link either with Eastern Europe or one of the German speaking countries (Austria, Germany and Switzerland)
3)from the German speaking countries (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) with a narrative or artistic link either with Eastern Europe or Italy
SUBMISSION
All applications must include:
- complete application form in word format
- approx. 5 – 8 page treatment / exposé in English
- financing plan
All documents must be sent via email within November 10, 2012 to info@wemw.it
SELECTION & AWARD
Selection will be done by EAVE experts on several criteria: potential of the treatment, international dimension of the project, producer CV and company track record. Selected projects will be announced in early December and producers will be offered travel and accommodation in Trieste. The best project will be offered a scholarship to attend the EAVE European Producers Workshop 2013.
